No returns on custom ordered parts. No returns on parts or electronics that have had packaging open.
Repair Policy
Every customer must have a signed form on file, before any work can be started. (Customer Signature Below) grant permission to New Look Computer and Data to perform any action deemed necessary in an attempt to repair my device.
Terms and Conditions for Computer Repair Services
1. Right to Refuse Service New Look Computer and Data reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time based on circumstances. Customers must inform technicians of any existing damage. Failure to do so releases New Look Computer and Data from liability for further damage.
2. Warranty We warranty only the specific services performed for one month. This does not include software issues caused by the end user, such as viruses, spyware, or tampering with settings. Misuse, tampering, abuse, fire, theft, accidental damage, surges, spikes, or brownouts are not covered.
3. Data Protection and Liability New Look Computer and Data will make every reasonable effort to protect your data. However, data loss can occur due to factors beyond our control. Customers are responsible for backing up their data. We can back up data upon request if possible. We are not responsible for lost data or any resulting loss of revenue or income. All data will be lost if we format your hard drive without a backup. We are not liable for corrupted or unusable data during service.
4. Limited Liability New Look Computer and Data offers limited liability for unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Reoccurring or new issues after service are considered separate issues and will be charged at our regular rate. Hardware warranty is through the original manufacturer unless otherwise specified.
5. Data Services Data backup, ghosting, drive imaging, drive copying, and data transfer depend on disk condition and data integrity. Charges apply for these services.
6. Warranty Voidance Your warranty is void if unauthorized persons add or remove devices from the network, remove our cables, change network settings, or move data jacks installed by us. Refer to your service contract and/or invoice for warranty information.
7. Confidentiality New Look Computer and Data agrees to keep client files confidential whenever possible. We will not open files or data unless necessary for the repair.
8. Antivirus Acknowledgment Clients acknowledge that no antivirus is 100% effective. Purchasing antivirus from New Look Computer and Data does not guarantee future protection. We do not warranty any software.
9. Repair Authorization Clients authorize New Look Computer and Data to perform repairs up to a maximum of $65.00 without additional contact. For repairs exceeding $65.00, an estimate will be provided. Additional work requires client approval and will be billed upon pickup. If the estimate is declined, a $65 diagnostic fee applies. If we are unable to diagnose or repair your PC, no charge will be applied.
10. Return Policy
• Hardware purchases can be returned within 15 days with a 15% restocking fee.
• No returns on software purchases.
• Electronics with opened packaging are not returnable.
• No refunds on custom orders.
11. Abandoned Items Items not picked up within 30 days of drop-off will be deemed donations to New Look Computer and Data.
Client Agreement
Client grants permission to New Look Computer and Data to perform any action deemed necessary in an attempt to repair my device. Furthermore, I release New Look Computer and Data from any liability for any data loss which may occur, or component failures occurring during attempted repair, testing, or at any other time. New Look Computer and Data is not responsible for loss of profit or any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damage occurring during or after device service. Furthermore, I release New Look Computer and Data from any liability for any data loss which may occur, or component failures occurring during attempted repair, testing, or at any other time. New Look Computer and Data is not responsible for loss of profit or any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damage occurring during or after device service.
• Client agrees to pay any expenses, materials, and labor costs.
• Client agrees to all terms, conditions, and company policies.
• Client authorizes New Look Computer and Data to perform work on their PC, network, or any other technical service.
• Client agrees that the technician has documented all necessary information about their PC, printer, or any other equipment. Furthermore, by signing I release New Look Computer and Data from any liability for any data loss which may occur, or component failures occurring during attempted repair, testing, or at any other time. New Look Computer and Data is not responsible for loss of profit or any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damage occurring during or after device service.
